Here they are - still faceless and clothing-less. :) They are both about 12" from the top of the head to the toe, and the bunny's ears make her a bit longer. The patterns are super cute and easy!
You are so crafty. Do you need a sewing machine to do this? I'm really clueless about sewing. I want to get into it though. I just started experimenting with tutu's for Skylar...
Ha! I am so NOT crafty! Necessity is the mother of invention...or something like that. :)
Yes, you do need a sewing machine though. Sometimes you can buy them super cheap on Craig's List or from vaccuum and sewing machine repair shops. You just might want to take someone who knows sewing machines with you, to make sure it works.
"[S]he attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which." -Douglas Adams
(My husband claims this quote describes me perfectly) :)
They are so cute! I can't wait to see how you dress them...
ReplyDeleteWHAT???? You MADE those??? You are incredible. Just like Laura Ingalls Wilder. This reminds me of the corn cob dolls. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Shelly! I can't wait too. Heh. That seems like the hard part.
ReplyDeleteJo - come over and I'll show you how to do it and then you'll be WAYYYY less impressed. :) It's pretty easy. :)
